Our Family
We’re the family behind Hills and Valleys Ranch, first-generation ranchers and homesteaders who planted roots in the rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. When Mike was retired from the military after a career ending injury, we weren’t sure what was next for us. We followed a prompting from God to move Colorado and began a prayerful season of asking God what was next. Our journey of purchasing our ranch and growing goat herds from scratch is one of faith, grit, and gratitude. We believe in living simply, working hard, and stewarding the land we’ve been blessed with. From foraging wild herbs and harvesting what we grow, to raising and milking goats, everything we do is guided by a deep respect for nature and a desire to create a legacy rooted in purpose. At Hills and Valleys Ranch, we’re building more than a life off the land, we’re creating natural skin care products and experiences that reflect our values, our family, and the natural abundance God has provided.
